We are thrilled to announce the winners of the #NoWrongDoor Open Innovation Challenge!
The No Wrong Door Open Innovation Challenge is a key component of the London Recovery Board’s mission to connect Londoners with quality employment, this initiative responds to the heightened disparities exposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Aimed at fostering collaboration across job and skills training sectors, the programme prioritises support for diverse groups, including disabled individuals, women, refugees, and people of all ages.
The Challenge will unite policymakers, businesses, and communities to create and expand impactful solutions. With an ambition to bring up to 15 new innovations to market, it fuels the growth of the organisations behind these ideas, driving lasting systemic change across London.
As a proud delivery partner, we were privileged to work with a group of passionate, forward-thinking participants who are determined to shape a brighter, more inclusive future for London’s workforce. This year’s Open Innovation Challenge focused on uniting solutions that encourage collaboration across the skills and employment ecosystem, ensuring that every Londoner can find the support they need to thrive. After months of hard work, ideas, and presentations, we’re thrilled to congratulate the three winning innovators:
- Claudine Adeyemi-Adams, Founder of Earlybird – Claudine’s platform connects Londoners with the resources they need for skill development and career growth, especially those in underserved communities.
- Titi Solarin, Founder of Tailored Futures CIC – Titi’s approach to creating tailored pathways aligns local employment needs with training initiatives, creating unique opportunities for sustainable jobs.
- Stephen Carrick-Davies, CEO of Facework Group – Stephen’s focus is on breaking down barriers for job seekers by providing tools that make employment more accessible and achievable for all.
Each winner has been awarded up to £50,000 and will receive bespoke business support to turn their vision into reality, giving them the tools and backing to make a difference in the community. We couldn’t be prouder to see these innovative solutions receive the support they need to thrive and excited to see the positive impact these leaders will make in helping more Londoners achieve their career aspirations.
